A collection of portrait sketches drawn from real-life references, aka- my husband, my mom, my dog, etc -- focusing on capturing structure, proportion, and subtle emotion. These studies help me observe light, form, and expression more closely while building accuracy and confidence in rendering faces. Each sketch is part of my ongoing effort to understand the living form through observation, not assumption.
